4. We don’t have to wash our hair every day, it has a nice habit of staying clean by its self
5. 4c hair is just as good as 3a hair
6. Saying “naps” will get you smacked
7. You can’t “just” do anything with textured hair.
8. Hair products for us are expensive and/or hard to find
9. Dreads aren’t just twisted into existence
10. If your hair isn’t Afro-textured all you need to say is “looks nice”

Below is what they wrote in my freewrites notebook, after I told them how much “Angels & Airwaves” saved my life: “You are so much more than you are in this moment. Don’t give up on you.”
I ended up in the hospital and a psych ward this summer and really hit rock bottom but Angel Haze was able to pull me back up and really save my life. Going to their concert and meeting them and talking to them and hugging them made my heart feel the most whole it’s felt in a long time. Angel Haze is an inspiration and I love them oh so much.
